Newborn Studio Photography with Wedding Veil & Rings│Fairfield County, CT
If you’re considering a newborn photoshoot, you may be wondering if a sentimental object or two can be incorporated. And the answer: YES! For Autumn’s newborn session, I was able to incorporate a gorgeous bridal veil, unique wedding rings, and the flowers of her birth month, carnations.
Newborn Session with Wedding Rings and Mom’s Veil
Prior to the session, Autumn’s parents asked if I could use a handful a sentimental mementos when I photographed their baby, namely wedding rings, a bridal veil, and carnations (the official flower for January babies.) I was so happy to plan the session to incorporate these items, and was thrilled with the result.
Reds and Greens for Baby Pictures
Autumn’s parents love fall colors and asked for dark reds and greens to be used in their daughter’s newborn session. I prepared my Ridgefield, CT studio with a variety of props and red and green fabrics in advance of their arrival, so that when they arrived we would be ready to go with everything laid out and at-hand for quick and easy transitions between poses and props. Autumn’s parents had reviewed my prep guide ahead of the session, and everyone arrived ready to go for Picture Day.
Autumn was a total champ for her session, and I loved chatting with her parents as I worked through the session.

Newborn and Parent Pictures
At the end of the session, we brought Autumn’s parents into the shot! I love how they dressed in complimentary colors and the family pictures turned out so well.
