FAQ

what should we wear?

All JW Brown Photography clients have access to a complimentary styling service that will make clothing selection a breeze. You'll be directed to a quick style questionnaire, and then sent specific recommendations for clothing items you can easily order online from your couch!

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

If it rains, we'll reschedule. I usually like to "call it" on the day of, as weather predictions fluctuate quite a bit. If it's simply cloudy or chilly, we move forward with the photoshoot. Cloudy days often make for especially pretty pictures!

WHAT IF SOMEONE GETS SICK?

It happens, and I appreciate you letting me know if someone in your group isn’t feeling well. I’m happy to reschedule in the case of illness, and I appreciate a 24-hour notice if possible.

WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Within two weeks of your photoshoot, you'll receive an email from me that includes a link to an online gallery. From there you'll be able to view the images, download them in high-resolution, and order prints and wall art.

HOW DO I BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT?

Please contact me to get the ball rolling! I’ll guide you through selecting a date and time, paying a deposit, signing a contract, and filling out a short questionnaire.

what if my kids don’t behave?

I design photoshoots to keep children engaged and having fun, taking the pressure off of parents. I'll take the lead with all kinds of silly games and activities. Also, kids take their cues from parents, so the more calm you are, they more cooperative they'll be!
